You may subscribe to the Therapist in the Loop Newsletter and related Updates. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in violation of any law or regulation
  • Copy, scrape, republish, or systematically extract Site content beyond what is permitted by law or written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
  • Interfere with Site security, functionality, or availability
  • Upload malicious code, bots, or harmful scripts
  • Use Site content as a substitute for individualized professional, legal, or crisis guidance
  • Misrepresent Site content as formal clinical guidance, regulatory advice, or an official standard of care

6. Intellectual Property and Resource Sharing

Unless otherwise stated, the Therapist in the Loop website, newsletter, guides, articles, research summaries, presentations, tools, downloadable documents, graphics, videos, and other original resources published on the Site are protected by copyright and belong to 17161701 Canada Inc.

The authors of a resource are identified, where applicable, in the resource itself. Naming a contributor recognizes their participation in the review, consultation, or development process and does not give them ownership rights in the resource unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Some third-party materials may be reproduced with permission or under an applicable licence. Those materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.

You may link to Therapist in the Loop content. You may also download, print, and freely share resources made available for that purpose, in their complete and unmodified form, with attribution and copyright notices intact.

This permission applies to sharing in clinical, professional, educational, or organizational contexts, including by a private practice or commercial organization, as long as no fee is charged specifically for access to the resource.

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • modify, abridge, translate, adapt, or rebrand the content;
  • reproduce or republish a substantial part of the Site or newsletter;
  • remove or modify notices about authors, contributors, source, copyright, or disclaimers;
  • sell a resource or charge specifically for access to it;
  • integrate the content into a paid product, training, service, or resource in a way that suggests it is officially part of that offering;
  • use the content in a way that suggests Therapist in the Loop, its authors, or 17161701 Canada Inc. endorse or approve any person, organization, product, or service.

Short excerpts may be used where permitted by law, with appropriate attribution and, where possible, a link to the original resource.

To request permission to translate, adapt, reproduce, or otherwise use a resource, write to katherine.gibb@therapistintheloop.org.

7. Third-Party Links and References

The Site may link to third-party websites, journals, tools, products, or services. These links are provided for convenience or reference only. Mention of a product, service, or provider does not constitute endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

8. Educational Nature of Content

The Site’s one-line Research Summaries and longer Articles are intentionally concise. They may omit important context such as methodology, population, limitations, setting, effect size, and applicability. You are responsible for reviewing original sources and using your own professional judgment before relying on or implementing any information from the Site.

9. No Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, non-infringement, and merchantability. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, error-free, secure, or free from interruption.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 17161701 Canada Inc., Katherine Gibb, Hassan Rezaee, and their authors, contributors, affiliates, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to: your use of or inability to use the Site, reliance on Site content, security incidents, service interruptions, or third-party links, tools, or content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Changes to the Site and Terms

We may update, suspend, discontinue, or change any part of the Site at any time. We may also revise these Terms. Continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
